14 Jun St. Louis investor named to Silicon Valley fellowship program
Scott Bernstein, a principal at St. Louis-based venture capital firm Lewis & Clark Ventures, has been named one of 51 fellows in the prestigious Kauffman Fellows Program, a two-year program that helps investors enhance entrepreneurial access to venture capital by improving understanding and relationships between venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. Other firms represented in this year’s class include Blackrock, Social Capital, August Capital, 500 Startups, Microsoft Ventures, SoftTech VC, Tencent, Shasta Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Merck Ventures, 500 Startups and more.
Kauffman Fellows is a two year program dedicated to educating diverse leaders globally. While working full time, fellows receive a structured curriculum, gain wisdom from top luminaries in the field, and have opportunities to strengthen personal relationships and professional networks. The ultimate goal is for each Fellow to develop skills and strategies to be an effective and visionary “Top 5%” investor.
