Ron Watson is a Principal at Lewis & Clark Ventures and is responsible for identifying, researching, and analyzing the highest-potential prospective investments for the fund.


Previously, Ron led the growth strategy for the Tobin Project, a non-profit research organization dedicated to mobilizing and supporting scholars across the social sciences to deepen understanding of significant challenges facing the nation. Ron also worked for the management consulting firm A.T. Kearney from 1999 to 2007.


Ron holds a B.S. from Indiana University in Finance and Accounting, a M.A. in International Economics from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
