Beam Benefits Earns Spot 189 On 2022 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 List

Digital-first benefits company increased revenue by 782% over past three years.

COLUMBUS, OH – November 16, 2022 -- Beam Benefits, a digitally-native employee benefits company, today announced its ranking (No. 189) on the 2022 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list. The list celebrates the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2018-2021.

This is the second consecutive year that Beam earned a spot on Deloitte’s prestigious list. The distinction comes on the heels of a period of exponential growth for Beam, where in the last few years it increased revenue by 782%, doubled member count, grew to nearly 400 employees, and raised $80 million in Series E funding. Earlier this year, Beam also announced that it added voluntary life, accident and hospital indemnity products to its benefits portfolio, making it a one-stop-shop for ancillary benefits.

“At Beam Benefits, our simple and smart approach to employee benefits ensures they’re easy to understand and use. This is a major paradigm shift in an industry that has been dominated by pen-and-paper for too long,” said Alex Frommeyer, cofounder and CEO of Beam Benefits. “A spot on the Deloitte Fast 500 list attests to Beam’s ability to help employers attract and retain talent in a hyper-competitive labor market, while ensuring they maximize value from their benefits dollars.”

Beam Benefits is best-known for modernizing dental insurance with a first-of-its-kind connected toothbrush, which allows companies to potentially earn lower insurance rates based on their members’ dental hygiene. Through its Beam Perks program, members can also earn rewards for simply brushing their teeth – and redeem those rewards for toothpaste, floss, brush replacement heads, and more.

Now, thousands of employers across the country look to Beam Benefits to make their employees’ lives healthier, happier, and more financially sound. Beam quickly and efficiently delivers in-demand benefits and can provide customized quotes in seconds. Beam is on-track for another record year and expects revenue growth over 60% in 2022.
